BREAKING: Rep. McGovern obliterates Trump on the floor of Congress for never producing a plan to fix the healthcare crisis after promising one over and over and over and over again for nearly TEN YEARS!

Republicans have been working on their supposed “replacement for Obamacare” for literally over ten years now, and have never produced anything to show for it beyond “uhhhh…savings account, or something?”

As the nation barrels towards a deadline to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies or watch tens of millions of people lose their healthcare as premiums skyrocket, Republicans are still nowhere near any kind of alternative, replacement, or anything resembling a solution to the completely avoidable and self-inflicted crisis facing the American public.

Rep. McGovern publicly called out Trump in a fiery speech from the floor of Congress.

“But the truth is they’ve always said they have a plan, but they’ve never had a plan. Let me just go through a list of things here.”

“In February of 2016, then presidential candidate Donald Trump said, ‘we’re going to replace Obamacare with something so much better.’ Nothing followed.”

“On February 27th of 2017, the president said, ‘we have a really terrific, I believe, health care plan coming out.’ Never did.”

“May 10th, 2018, Donald Trump said, ‘but wait till you see the plans that we have coming out literally over the next four weeks. We have a great health care plan coming out.’ Nothing happened.”

“At a press gaggle near Air Force One in May of 2019, he said, ‘we’re coming up with a great health care plan. We’re going to have a fantastic health care plan that’s coming out in the next four weeks.’ Nothing ever materialized.”

June 16, 2019, the president said, ‘we’re going to produce a phenomenal health care plan. And we already have the concept of a plan. And it will be so much better health care.’ Yeah, well, we’ll be announcing it in about two months, maybe less. Nothing happened.”

“Fox News interview, the president said, ‘we’re signing in a health care plan within two weeks, a full and complete health care plan.’ Nothing happened.”

“July 2020, the president said, ‘well, we’re going to be doing a health care plan. We’re going to be doing a very inclusive health care plan. I’ll be signing it sometime very soon. It might be Sunday, but very, very soon.’ Nothing happened.”

“August 3rd, 2020, the president says ‘we’re going to be introducing a tremendous health care plan sometime prior, hopefully prior to the end of the month. It’s just about completed.’ Nothing.”

“September 15th, 2020, the president says ‘you’re going to have a new health care. We have a whole bunch of alternatives to Obamacare that are 50% less expensive and are actually better.’ Nothing ever happened.”

“September 10th, 2024, ABC News presidential debate. He says, ‘I have concepts of a plan. You’ll be hearing about it in the not too distant future.’ Nothing happened.”

“December 8th, 2024, he said ‘you know, we have concepts of a plan that will be much better. You’ll see it very soon.’ Produced nothing.”

“In May of 2025, at a White House event, he says, ‘so we’re going to be maybe coming up with something. I think this gives the Republicans a chance to actually do a healthcare that’s much better than Obamacare.’ Nothing.”

“People are sick and tired of the empty rhetoric. They’re sick and tired of you saying you have a plan and you never produce one. All you want to do is undermine healthcare for hardworking average Americans.”

We know all Trump does is lie, lie, lie, but it’s still shocking to see the shamelessness and the endlessness of his lies laid out in front of you like this. He’ll always have healthcare; he couldn’t care less if anyone else does.

CBS bet big on Bari Weiss and Erika Kirk and got a face plant instead. The much hyped CBS News town hall was one of the most heavily promoted specials of the season, with weeks of teasers, primetime promos, and social clips, yet it still hemorrhaged top advertisers and only pulled about 1.9 million viewers, which Variety called one of the least watched hours in broadcast television this season. That is a disaster night for a legacy network that still expects its news brand to look serious.

On the same week, CBS Evening News drew closer to 4.5 million viewers, while even a rerun of FBI cleared over 3 million, which makes the Weiss special look like a late night infomercial in comparison. When a supposedly marquee news event that the network blasted everywhere cannot even hang with scripted filler, it tells you viewers are not buying what this new culture war flavor is selling. For advertisers, wall to wall marketing plus low ratings plus backlash is the worst of both worlds.

It is also a brutal look for a network that once carried Walter Cronkite, Edward R Murrow, Dan Rather, Connie Chung, and Katie Couric as symbols of fact first journalism. Putting Bari Weiss at the center of CBS News makes that tradition feel like a costume the network no longer fits. Every flop like this, especially one they promoted this hard, chips away at the last bits of credibility that brand still has with people who remember when CBS News meant something.

  • BREAKING: “BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT” — Jack Smith calmly destroys Trump’s “witch hunt” fantasy in testimony before Congress.

BREAKING: “BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT” — Jack Smith calmly destroys Trump’s “witch hunt” fantasy in testimony before Congress.

This morning, Jack Smith walked into the lion’s den of a Republican-controlled House Judiciary Committee meeting, and calmly laid out Trump’s crimes for the world to see.

Behind closed doors on Capitol Hill, former Special Prosecutor Jack Smith did what Republicans desperately hoped he wouldn’t: he methodically, unapologetically, and calmly reminded them why Donald Trump was charged in the first place — and why no amount of political revenge can erase the facts.

In an hours-long deposition before the Committee, the former special counsel made one thing crystal clear: Trump is responsible for Trump actions. Not Joe Biden. Not Democrats. Not the “deep state.” Just Trump.

“The decision to bring charges against President Trump was mine,” Smith told lawmakers, “but the basis for those charges rests entirely with President Trump and his actions.” Translation: if Trump didn’t want indictments, he shouldn’t have committed the crime (allegedly).

Smith didn’t hedge. He didn’t flinch. He said his team uncovered evidence proving “beyond a reasonable doubt” that Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the 2020 election and block the lawful transfer of power — a stunning reminder of just how close the country came to losing its democracy.

On the classified documents case, Smith said the evidence was “powerful” and that Trump “repeatedly tried to obstruct justice.” Not misplaced papers. Not a misunderstanding. Obstruction.

And for Republicans screaming “witch hunt,” Smith torched that talking point too. He said he would have brought the same charges if Trump were a Democrat or a Republican. Facts and law, not politics, guided the investigation — a concept that seems increasingly foreign to today’s GOP.

Smith also defended his team’s decision to seek phone records from Republican lawmakers, explaining that Trump and his allies were calling members of Congress to further their criminal scheme to delay certification. “I didn’t choose those Members,” Smith said. “President Trump did.”

That line alone should haunt every lawmaker in the room.

Meanwhile, Republicans are openly targeting Smith himself, cheering on an unprecedented retaliation campaign that has included sanctions against his law firm and calls for his prosecution — all because he dared to apply the law to a powerful man.

Smith wanted to testify publicly. Jim Jordan said no. Transparency is dangerous when the truth cuts this deep.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, called the deposition “boring,” but that’s because in Jack Smith’s hands the facts don’t scream — they indict.

Jack Smith walked into a hostile room knowing the hunters were circling. And instead of blinking, he calmly reminded them: the evidence speaks for itself.

We can only hope that Donald Trump will someday face justice for the crimes that the former Special Prosecutor so meticulously detailed. Whether that happens while he’s still alive, given his apparently dubious medical conditions, remains to be seen.

BREAKING: The preservationist National Trust files a HUGE lawsuit against Trump to STOP the construction of his stupid ballroom before it even begins! And the lawyer they hired will enrage Trump even more…

Historic preservationists were aghast at the speed with which Donald Trump began the demolition of the East Wing of the White House, ignoring all federal review panels and completely shutting the public out of the decision in his single-minded quest to glorify himself.

Now he’s paying the price, as the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the nation’s premiere preservationist organization, has tapped Greg Craig, President Obama’s former White House Counsel, to lead a lawsuit against the White House on the grounds that the ballroom project is “illegal and unconstitutional.”

“No president is legally allowed to tear down portions of the White House without any review whatsoever — not President Trump, not President Joe Biden, and not anyone else,” the complaint says.

The lawsuit is from the nonprofit National Trust for Historic Preservation and was filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

“The lawsuit is our last resort,” Carol Quillen, National Trust’s CEO, said in an interview. “We serve the people, and the people are not being served in this process.”

Trump’s planned $300 million ballroom is a grotesque display of self-serving vanity and an engine for corruption; it is to be financed by private donors and corporations seeking favors or handouts from the federal government. It is deeply unpopular with voters, who see it as an unnecessary extravagance.

Now it might not even be happening at all!

It would be so perfect if Trump’s authoritarian efforts to literally bulldoze his way into a kingship were thwarted because he couldn’t be bothered to follow the rules.

Please like and share to wish the National Trust success in their lawsuit against Trump!

  • BREAKING: Trump threatens war, announces blockade, and declares Venezuela’s oil “ours” in UNHINGED Truth Social tirade.

Donald Trump just posted one of the most dangerous messages of his presidency — and it reads less like diplomacy and more like a ransom note written in ALL CAPS. And he couldn’t even wait for his mysterious prime time address to the nation that he scheduled for Wednesday evening.

In a jaw-dropping Truth Social rant, Trump claimed Venezuela is now “completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled in the History of South America,” boasting that the “shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before.” Why? Because Trump insists Venezuela must “return to the United States of America all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us.”

    Stole from us?

Venezuela’s oil fields are suddenly American property now, according to Trump — a declaration so reckless it sounds ripped from the 19th-century playbook of imperial conquest. He accused the Maduro government of using “stolen Oil Fields” to fund “Drug Terrorism, Human Trafficking, Murder, and Kidnapping,” then announced he has designated Venezuela a FOREIGN TERRORIST ORGANIZATION and ordered a “TOTAL AND COMPLETE BLOCKADE” of oil tankers going in and out of the country.

That’s not bluster. A blockade is an act of war.

Trump didn’t stop there. He bragged that migrants allegedly sent by Venezuela during the “weak and inept Biden Administration” are being “returned… at a rapid pace,” before declaring that the U.S. will not allow a “Hostile Regime” to take “our Oil, Land, or any other Assets,” which he demands be returned “IMMEDIATELY.”

This is not how international law works — and it’s certainly not how reality works.

What Trump just outlined is economic warfare, collective punishment, and a claim of ownership over another sovereign nation’s resources — all announced casually on social media, with zero mention of Congress, allies, or consequences.

Markets panic when presidents sneeze. Trump is threatening naval blockades.

Even more chilling is how casually he frames it: no evidence, no process, no restraint — just power, force, and entitlement. The language isn’t about protecting Americans; it’s about domination. Oil. Assets. “Ours.” Returned “immediately.”

This is the same man who promised “peace through strength,” now openly flirting with a regional war while demanding tribute like a strongman from a bygone empire.

Trump didn’t just escalate tensions with Venezuela. He lit a match and tossed it into the hemisphere — then signed off with, “Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

America should be paying very close attention. And Congress should remind Trump that he has no power to unilaterally start a war without their consent.

IMAGINE IF WHEN WE INVADED IRAQ, WE WERE ALMOST FOUR YEARS INTO IT, ONLY OCCUPIED 20 PERCENT, AND LOST A MILLION MEN.

NOT A SOUL WOULD CALL THAT “WINNING.”
[6:05 am, 17/12/2025] Rehan Arshad: While there is no single long-form “article” that contains only this quote, it originated from a social media post and interview commentary by former Congressman Adam Kinzinger.

Kinzinger, a former U.S. Air Force pilot who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, frequently uses his military background to provide perspective on the Russo-Ukrainian War.

    Context of the Quote
The quote appears to be a hypothetical comparison meant to counter arguments that Russia is “winning” or that U.S. aid to Ukraine is ineffective.

The Iraq Comparison: Kinzinger often compares the scale of the two conflicts. In Iraq, the U.S. achieved a swift initial victory, whereas Russia’s invasion (which began in February 2022) has entered a long, attritional phase.

Casualties and Territory: As of late 2025, Russian troops occupy approximately 20% of Ukraine. Casualties on the Russian side have been estimated to be extremely high, with some reports citing hundreds of thousands of total casualties.

Current Standing: Kinzinger has maintained a vocal stance that “Ukraine is winning” because it has successfully resisted a much larger superpower for nearly four years and prevented the total occupation of the country.

    About Adam Kinzinger
Political Career: He served as a U.S. Representative from Illinois from 2011 to 2023.

Military Service: He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard and served as a pilot in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Stance on Ukraine: Since the 2022 invasion, he has been a “hawk” on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, advocating for strong NATO intervention, the implementation of no-fly zones, and swift economic sanctions against Russia

HELEN MIRREN “ERUPTS” LIVE ON AIR, DECLARING A $107 MILLION INVESTMENT IN NETFLIX TO RIP THROUGH THE FOG OF TRUTH — AND AMERICA TREMBLES.

On the night of December 9, a stage long familiar with dazzling lights suddenly became the epicenter of a media earthquake. Helen Mirren — the Oscar-winning actress and irreplaceable icon of British cinema — appeared with an intensity no one had seen before. She placed both hands on the desk, her gaze cutting straight into the lens, and delivered a line that made the world freeze:I will invest 107 million dollars into Netflix. It’s time to tear apart the fog that has hidden the truth for far too long.”No laughter. No applause.Only shock filling the room like thick smoke.Immediately after her declaration, Mirren referenced a 15-minute clip recently released by Netflix — a piece framed as fiction but unsettlingly real in tone. Blurred faces, cryptic details, and an atmosphere so heavy it sent chills through the entire film industry. Mirren insisted the clip was not entertainment, not a stunt, but a warning about secrets long buried beneath the weight of power.

She made it clear that the $107 million wasn’t a moment of emotional impulse. It was a commitment — to expand investigations, collaborate with experts, and produce a documentary series powerful enough to “drag the truth back from the dark.”In the entertainment world, chaos spread instantly: studios called emergency meetings, publicists slammed comment sections shut, and once-untouchable names fell into sudden silence.Mirren closed the broadcast with a single sentence that sent shivers across millions:

f the truth makes the powerful tremble… then it’s time they tremble.”

And on the night of December 9, Helen Mirren stepped out of the spotlight of entertainment — and into a battle to expose the truth.

  • BREAKING: PENTAGON MELTDOWN! Pete Hegseth explodes at veteran senator after being pressed on deadly Caribbean strikes.

BREAKING: PENTAGON MELTDOWN! Pete Hegseth explodes at veteran senator after being pressed on deadly Caribbean strikes.

The cracks inside Trump’s national security team are no longer hidden behind closed doors.

During a classified briefing this week, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reportedly got into a heated argument with Sen. Mark Kelly — a decorated Navy combat veteran and former astronaut — after Kelly dared to ask questions about the administration’s lethal boat strikes in the Caribbean off the coast of Venezuela.

Yes, asked questions, just as his job as Senator required.

According to multiple reporters, Kelly, seated in the front row, pressed officials about the ongoing military operations — strikes that legal experts have warned could amount to war crimes if civilians were targeted without proper justification or oversight.

Hegseth never answered the question. Instead, he lashed out.

Rather than addressing the substance of the strikes, Hegseth reportedly pivoted to attacking Kelly over a video the senator made with other Democratic veterans, warning active-duty service members not to follow unlawful orders — a basic principle drilled into every U.S. soldier since Nuremberg.

Kelly interrupted, making clear his question had nothing to do with the video. That’s when the exchange reportedly turned fiery, with witnesses describing an unusually tense confrontation inside the classified briefing room.

Meaning that when confronted with accountability, Hegseth went personal.

    And it gets worse.

Hegseth’s Pentagon is currently investigating Kelly — a sitting U.S. senator and veteran — for that very video, a move Kelly’s legal team is now calling blatantly political and illegal. On Monday, Kelly’s attorney fired off a warning letter to the Department of Defense, signaling the senator is prepared to take legal action to stop what they describe as a retaliatory probe.

Let that sink in — the Trump administration is investigating a combat veteran senator for reminding troops to obey the law, while the defense secretary dodges questions about potentially unlawful killings.

The boat strikes themselves have already sparked alarm among lawmakers and military observers, with concerns about civilian casualties, murky rules of engagement, and whether proper oversight was ever in place. Instead of transparency, the response has been intimidation and deflection.

This wasn’t a policy disagreement. It was a stress fracture.

When a defense secretary can’t handle questions from a veteran senator without erupting — and resorts to weaponizing investigations instead — it sends a chilling message about how dissent is treated under Trump’s Pentagon.

Mark Kelly asked the right question, but Pete Hegseth provided the wrong answer — and proved exactly why Congress is worried.

  • BREAKING: Obama delivers a powerful tribute after Rob Reiner’s murder as Trump spits on his grave — and Americans are stunned by the contrast.

BREAKING: Obama delivers a powerful tribute after Rob Reiner’s murder as Trump spits on his grave — and Americans are stunned by the contrast.

In a moment that called for basic human decency, America got a side-by-side contrast so stark it felt like a morality play.

Barack Obama responded to the deaths of filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, with empathy, humility, and class.

“Michelle and I are heartbroken by the tragic passing of Rob Reiner and his beloved wife, Michele. Rob’s achievements in film and television gave us some of our most cherished stories on screen. But beneath all of the stories he produced was a deep belief in the goodness of people—and a lifelong commitment to putting that belief into action. Together, he and his wife lived lives defined by purpose. They will be remembered for the values they championed and the countless people they inspired. We send our deepest condolences to all who loved them,’ the former president posted on X.

His message centered on grief, love, and legacy. He spoke about Reiner’s belief in the goodness of people, about a life lived with purpose, and about the inspiration Rob and Michele gave to others. It was a reminder of what leadership looks like when it understands that words can heal. No politics. No ego. Just humanity.

    Then came Donald Trump.

While Obama offered condolences, Trump used the deaths of two people to settle scores. In a rambling Truth Social post, Trump mocked Reiner as “tortured” and “struggling,” smeared him with the made-up slur “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” and somehow managed to turn a tragedy into a self-congratulatory rant about his own “Golden Age of America.” Even the obligatory “rest in peace” landed like an afterthought, tacked on after a barrage of cruelty.

This wasn’t just bad taste — it was a window into character.

Obama spoke to the country. Trump spoke to his resentments. Obama honored a life and a marriage defined by creativity and values. Trump reduced two deaths to an excuse for ridicule and grievance. One man showed respect for the dead and compassion for the living. The other showed that even grief is no barrier to his appetite for insult.

The American people have seen this pattern before. When tragedy strikes, Obama’s instinct is empathy. Trump’s instinct is always about attacking his perceived enemies and protecting himself.

And that’s the real comparison voters should sit with. Leadership isn’t about who shouts the loudest or who insults best. It’s about who knows when to be silent, when to be kind, and when to rise above hatred.

In this moment, one former president acted like a statesman. The other acted exactly as America has come to expect — cruel, petty, and incapable of grace.
