Walking into a Republican-controlled House Judiciary Committee, Jack Smith calmly shattered the “witch hunt” narrative and put everything on the record.
In his opening statement, Smith declared:
> “Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power.”
Smith told lawmakers that Trump broke the law, attempted to overturn the election, and would do so again if given the chance. Unapologetic and precise, he said he has zero regrets, would charge Trump again today based on the same facts, and added bluntly: if Trump didn’t want to be indicted, he shouldn’t have broken the law.
He made clear the prosecution decision was his alone, grounded in Trump’s actions and backed by multiple grand juries in two districts, regardless of party. As the testimony unfolded, Republicans appeared to immediately regret calling him—while Trump’s legal team reportedly scrambled behind the scenes.
Now comes a stunning twist: the BBC is reportedly seeking to call Jack Smith to testify in Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit. And although the full hearing wasn’t broadcast—an omission many are calling a travesty
what happened behind closed doors is exactly why Trump’s lawyers are panicking now with full evidence to show to the world….the story is still unfolding

BREAKING: Jen Psaki RIPS into Trump over the absolute debacle of a “speech” that he gave to the nation last night, fact-checking his avalanche of lies on live TV!
The president gave an Oval Office address to America last night, and, well, let’s just let the eloquent Jen Psaki tell you how that went:
“Well, the president has just finished his address to the nation, and… was that a speech? I mean it felt almost like it was a bad fast-talking infomercial with a lot of anti-immigrant language just intertwined in there?”
“It was extremely loose on facts, and he basically tried to shout his alleged accomplishments at the American people as if that was going to convince them that they were all true!”
Psaki dove right into the fact-check, exposing his lies for the whole nation to see:
“But first, I just want to quickly fact-check just a few. I mean, there were so many in there.
“Trump announced checks for $1,776 for US troops. First of all, Congress controls the power of the purse of the country, not the president. So if that happens, that is, Congress sending those checks, even if Trump puts his name on them, but that number $1,776 is also kind of interesting because an analysis from the Yale budget lab estimates that as of November, Trump tariffs have cost Americans an average of $1,700 per household this year. Trump also claimed that when he took office, inflation was the worst in 48 years. That’s not true.”
The truth is that inflation had been declining from its peak of 7% during the pandemic. But since Trump took office, it has basically flatlined at 3%. It was 3% in January, and it’s 3% today.”
“In his campaign, Trump also claimed he would end inflation on day one. Now, just last week, the chair of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, said that ‘Inflation remains somewhat elevated.’ There you go.”
“Trump said he’s working to bring grocery prices down now just this week. This is where it gets awkward for him. Trump’s own agriculture department released a report showing that food prices are rising faster than inflation, and everybody, by the way, is living that at grocery stores.
“Trump also claimed that he’s brought gas prices down to $1.99 a gallon. The national average for a gallon of gasoline was three dollars and eleven cents when Trump took office. The national average today per AAA is two dollars and ninety-one cents. That is just a little taste in flavor, and I’m sure you all have your own lists at home again.”
Trump can yell his “accomplishments” at us over and over and over again, but all the lies in the world aren’t going to change how much our groceries cost, how empty our wallets are, and how high our healthcare premiums are going to go. Every lie is just going to make people angrier and angrier, and we’re going to make him pay at the ballot box.
BREAKING: Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez destroys J.D. Vance in a hypothetical 2028 presidential matchup according to new polling — beating him 51% to 49%.
And it gets so much better…
According to a voter survey by The Argument/Verasight, AOC received the support of 79% of Black voters and 64% of Hispanic voters. Meanwhile, Vance eked out just 57% of white voters — an embarrassingly low number given how aggressively the Trump administration has embraced white nationalism and pro-white messaging.
Perhaps most surprisingly, 8% of people who voted for Trump in 2024 stated that they’ll vote for Ocasio-Cortez in 2028 if she ends up as the Democratic nominee. Buyer’s remorse has clearly set in as the nation deteriorates at a staggering rate.
AOC tweeted out the poll with a humorous “Bloop!” attached. While she hasn’t signaled that she intends to run for president in 2028, this poll shows just how dire Vance’s position has become. And it’s easy to see why: the Trump administration is an unmitigated failure on every front.
Vance will have to launch his bid for the Oval Office while shackled to Trump’s disastrous tariffs, skyrocketing consumer prices, unpopular fascist ICE raids, and what looks to be a looming illegal and evil war against Venezuela. Meanwhile, he has no meaningful accomplishments to run on. As Americans struggle to afford groceries, the White House is doubling down on culture war garbage. Trump’s disgusting celebration of Rob Reiner’s tragic murder perfectly encapsulates the rot at the heart of this administration.
Traditionally, the vice presidency has been a strong position from which to launch presidential campaigns but that strategy requires at least the veneer of governing success. Americans increasingly see the second Trump term as an absolute disaster.
The irony here could not be more sweet. Vance abandoned any semblance of principles to embrace a president he once compared to Hitler in the hopes of cynically benefitting his own career. Clearly, that plan has backfired.

TRUMP’S NIGHTMARE SCENARIO TAKES SHAPE: THE NEWSOM–KELLY ALLIANCE SENDS SHOCKWAVES THROUGH WASHINGTON
Washington is buzzing tonight as a powerful new political pairing quietly steps into the spotlight — and it’s already being called Donald Trump’s most dangerous threat yet.
California Governor Gavin Newsom and Arizona Senator Mark Kelly are emerging as a potential 2028 force so formidable that Republican insiders are privately admitting it could rewrite the entire race. While no official ticket has been announced, the coordination, messaging alignment, and strategic signaling are impossible to ignore.
And Trump knows it.
A DUO DESIGNED TO BOX TRUMP IN
On one side stands Gavin Newsom — sharp-tongued, media-savvy, relentless. Newsom has made Trump a central villain in his national messaging, branding him as reckless, authoritarian, and destructive to democratic norms. He thrives in confrontation and dominates cable news, debates, and viral moments.
On the other side is Mark Kelly — calm, disciplined, and trusted. A former Navy pilot and astronaut, Kelly brings a level of credibility and seriousness that appeals to independents, moderates, and even some disillusioned Republicans. Where Newsom ignites, Kelly reassures.
Together, Democrats see something rare: fire and gravity in the same frame.
“It’s not about matching Trump’s chaos,” one Democratic strategist hinted. “It’s about surrounding him from every angle.”
WHY REPUBLICANS ARE PANICKING
Trump’s political strength has always relied on polarization — turning elections into emotional loyalty tests. But the Newsom–Kelly combination threatens that formula.
Newsom energizes the base and keeps Trump constantly on defense.
Kelly neutralizes Trump’s attacks with discipline and credibility.
That balance is dangerous.
Early internal polling circulating among party operatives reportedly shows this pairing performing strongly in battleground states Trump must win — Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and even Georgia. The mere possibility of this alliance is already forcing Republican strategists to rethink messaging, fundraising, and turnout strategy.
One GOP insider put it bluntly:
“This is the first time Trump looks cornered before the race starts.”
TRUMP’S SILENCE IS LOUD
Notably, Trump has yet to unleash his usual barrage of nicknames and insults toward Kelly — a silence that’s raising eyebrows. Analysts say attacking a decorated veteran and astronaut carries risks Trump hasn’t faced before.
Meanwhile, Newsom continues to bait Trump publicly, daring him into confrontations that could backfire badly in a general election environment.
It’s a trap — and everyone sees it.
IS THIS THE ENDGAME?
While Democrats insist nothing is “official,” the signals are unmistakable. Fundraising networks are aligning. Donors are circling. Media narratives are forming.
This isn’t just about 2028.
It’s about boxing Trump in early, draining momentum, and forcing him to fight on unfavorable terrain long before the first primary vote is cast.
And for the first time in years, Trump may be facing a political challenge he can’t bulldoze through with brute force alone.
READERS ARE DIVIDED — WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Is the Newsom–Kelly alliance the beginning of the end for Trump’s political dominance, or just another overhyped Democratic fantasy
BREAKING: FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino quietly cleans out his desk as Epstein files release deadline arrives.
Another Trump experiment is quietly heading for the exits — and this one is packing up without a press conference.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, the conservative podcaster-turned–law-enforcement-boss who never worked a day as an FBI agent, has reportedly told colleagues he’s done. According to multiple sources, Bongino has cleared out his office, stopped coming into headquarters, and is preparing to formally announce his departure early next year.
So ends one of the strangest appointments in FBI history.
Installed by President Donald Trump despite zero FBI experience, Bongino was handed the keys to the bureau’s day-to-day operations — a role typically reserved for seasoned agents who understand, well, the job. Instead, Trump picked a MAGA media star whose résumé was built on conspiracy theories, not investigations.
Almost immediately, things went sideways.
Bongino clashed with Attorney General Pam Bondi, prompting Trump to take the unprecedented step of naming a co–deputy director to help cover Bongino’s workload — a bureaucratic vote of no confidence if there ever was one. Behind the scenes, agents reportedly viewed Bongino as wildly out of his depth, with one source bluntly saying they’re “counting down the days” until he’s gone.
Then came the reckoning.
As deputy director, Bongino suddenly had to deal with facts — a sharp departure from his podcast days, where he built a massive following (and a reported $160 million fortune) promoting MAGA-friendly conspiracy theories. When arrests in the January 6 pipe bomb case and internal reviews of the Epstein files contradicted claims he had long amplified, Bongino was forced to publicly reverse himself.
Turns out, shouting theories into a microphone is easier than running a federal law enforcement agency.
The backlash from Trump’s own base was swift and vicious. MAGA supporters, furious that Bongino no longer backed their Epstein fantasies, turned on him — a familiar fate for anyone who dares replace outrage with evidence.
By his own admission, Bongino discovered that being paid to offer opinions is very different from being paid to uphold reality. And reality, it seems, won.
Now, as the Justice Department approaches a court-mandated deadline to release Epstein-related materials, Bongino is reportedly slipping out the side door — refusing to confirm anything, dismissing reporters, and leaving the FBI to clean up the mess.
Trump promised to “fix” federal law enforcement. Instead, he turned it into a podcast audition. And once again, the adults were left counting the days until the noise finally stopped.
BREAKING: Panic OVERWHELMS Trump administration as moderate Republicans break ranks to save Obamacare from their own party.
The Affordable Care Act just survived another Republican extinction-level event — and this time, it was friendly fire.
In a stunning humiliation for Speaker Mike Johnson and Donald Trump’s administration, four Republicans joined Democrats to force a vote extending Obamacare subsidies, blowing up the party’s long-running crusade against the very healthcare millions of their voters rely on.
Let that sink in: Republicans are now rebelling to protect Obamacare — the law their party has spent more than a decade trying to kill.
The revolt comes as premium tax credits for ACA plans are set to expire, a move that would send insurance costs skyrocketing just months before the 2026 midterms. Faced with the prospect of explaining to constituents why their health care suddenly became unaffordable, GOP moderates blinked. Hard.
Pennsylvania Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, the first Republican to defect, made it clear that House leadership left him no choice. After months of trying — and failing — to get GOP leaders to include a simple extension in their own bill, Fitzpatrick torched leadership for forcing a “complete expiration without any bridge.”
In other words, Republicans promised lower costs, and now they’re about to break that promise — loudly.
Fitzpatrick was soon joined by fellow Pennsylvania Republicans Robert Bresnahan and Ryan Mackenzie, along with New York Rep. Mike Lawler, pushing the discharge petition over the magic 218 signatures. That maneuver forces a vote on Democrats’ bill extending the subsidies for three years — whether GOP leadership likes it or not.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries didn’t mince words. Congress, he said, should not leave town without voting to protect Americans’ health care — because the votes are there and the consequences of failure are brutal.
Speaker Mike Johnson, meanwhile, insisted he hasn’t “lost control” of the House — a claim that landed with all the credibility of a driver yelling “everything’s fine” while the wheels come off the vehicle. “These are not normal times,” Johnson said. No kidding.
Republicans are still pushing an alternative bill filled with conservative talking points and zero relief from immediate premium hikes — while claiming, with a straight face, that Democrats “broke” healthcare.
The reality? When even Republicans are scrambling to save Obamacare from Republicans, the party’s anti-ACA crusade is officially on life support.
And voters are watching.

BREAKING: “YOU SHOULD RESIGN!” Trump’s FCC Chair goes full Orwell — threatens journalists, erases description of agency as “independent” from website mid-hearing.
If you ever wondered what government censorship looks like in real time, FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr just gave America a live demo.
During a fiery Senate hearing, President Donald Trump’s FCC chair was accused—flat-out—of turning the Federal Communications Commission into a political weapon, and then promptly proved the point by quietly rewriting reality itself.
Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) unloaded on Carr after the FCC opened an investigation into a small San Francisco radio station for the apparent crime of… reporting facts. The station had covered a federal immigration raid using information released by the mayor, city council members, and community groups. Carr’s FCC responded by dangling the threat of pulling the station’s broadcast license.
That’s not regulation. That’s intimidation.
Markey called it what it was: a chilling attack on press freedom that led to a journalist being demoted and sent shockwaves through newsrooms nationwide. “You’re turning the Federal Communications Commission into the Federal Censorship Commission,” Markey thundered. “You should resign.”
Carr tried to talk over him — until even the Republican chair of the committee had to shut him down.
But the most jaw-dropping moment came next.
As Carr told senators that the FCC is “not formally… independent,” reporters noticed something astonishing: within minutes, the FCC scrubbed the word “independent” from its own website. Gone. Erased. Like it had never existed.
CNN called it “something out of 1984.” They weren’t exaggerating.
This is the same FCC chair who previously threatened ABC after Jimmy Kimmel dared to make a joke MAGA didn’t like—suggesting Disney could face “additional work” from regulators if the host wasn’t dealt with. Even Ted Cruz likened Carr’s behavior to a mob boss snarling, “Nice network you got there.”
Democrats hammered Carr for weaponizing the FCC’s vague “public interest” standard to bully media companies into silence. FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez warned the agency is now being used to “intimidate government critics” and trample the First Amendment.
And let’s not miss the context: companies facing FCC scrutiny — including one seeking approval for a $6.2 billion merger — just happened to pull Kimmel off the air right after Carr’s threat. Carr insists it was their “own decision.” Sure.
When a regulator threatens licenses, rewrites official websites on the fly, and openly declares loyalty to presidential power over independence, the message is clear: criticize Trump at your own risk.
This isn’t oversight. It’s authoritarian cosplay — with a federal seal slapped on top.
Please like and share to spread the news. Given the way the FCC is behaving, you might not see it anywhere else.
